Celebrating research nursing with the Excellence in Cancer Research Nursing Award (sponsored by Cancer Research UK)

It has been a year like no other. Clinical research nurses have shown incredible innovation, perseverance and unwavering commitment to keeping vital cancer research and trials going wherever possible. And so, more than ever, it’s important to recognise and celebrate the impact they have on cancer research outcomes and patient care.

That’s why Cancer Research UK is again proud to support the ‘Excellence in Cancer Research Nursing’ Award category of the prestigious Royal College of Nursing’s 2021 Nursing Awards (formerly the RCNi Nurse Awards).

The Award is open to all clinical research nurses and research nursing teams who work on cancer clinical trials. They can submit their own entries and nominations are also accepted from colleagues entering on their behalf.

Entering this Royal College of Nursing Award category is a fantastic opportunity for clinical research nurses to:

  • Showcase their amazing work and impact on cancer research and patient care
  • Receive national recognition for excellence and innovation in cancer clinical trial delivery
  • Share their achievements and raise awareness of research nursing with the wider nursing community
