Dr Doumit’s primary focus is to find ways to support these nurses who have been injured and have had homes damaged or destroyed . Nurses who want to return to work cannot do so as they cannot leave their damaged home unsecured and also many rely on a car to do community visits visit or get to their workplace as there is no public transport even before the explosion .
We respectfully ask that you read Dr Doumit’s letter and look at the short video clip and consider what help you can offer our nurse colleagues as they work to care to for their people in such dire circumstances.
