The Royal Marsden School and Conference Centre
The Royal Marsden School was created in 2002 to help share and develop the knowledge and expertise of those working within The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and beyond. Since then it has been acclaimed as an international centre of excellence.
Partnership with the University of East Anglia
Learners from The Royal Marsden School who successfully complete the validated courses and modules will be awarded a UEA qualification.
Undergraduate and Postgraduate Pathways
Our academic courses offer a range of pathways at undergraduate and master’s level enabling health and social care practitioners to achieve a cancer specialist qualification. With pathways comprised of a wide range of optional modules, students can create a pathway specifically tailored to their interests and skills. Our flexible master’s level pathways allow students to step off the full master’s, with exit awards offered at Postgraduate Certificate and Postgraduate Diploma level. All courses are validated by the University of East Anglia.
Modules
Our modules are available on a stand‑alone basis at undergraduate and postgraduate level. We welcome learners who may be looking for an introductory level course, as well as more experienced practitioners who wish to enhance their current practice in a specialist field. Some modules are highlighted as being available only as part of a longer academic course. With pathways comprised of a wide range of optional modules, learners can create a pathway specifically tailored to their interests and skills. All modules are validated by the University of East Anglia.
Short courses and study days
Our short courses and study days have been developed to enhance personal and professional development. They include training through workshops and role‑play, providing a safe environment for practitioners to develop practical skills. A number of our short courses are also offered in a bespoke capacity, allowing delivery at a location and venue convenient for you and your staff.
The Royal Marsden Conference Team
Drawing upon the wealth of knowledge and expertise of the clinical staff at The Royal Marsden and other organisations who are leaders in their field, The Royal Marsden Conference Team deliver an extensive range of conferences and study days throughout the year. In addition to the 120 -seat purpose built lecture theatre, the Education and Conference Centre benefits from a function room that offers flexible catering, exhibition and breakout space. The venue facilities are available to hire for all kinds of conferences, meetings, receptions and training sessions. The Royal Marsden Conference Team also offers first class conference secretariat services and support for events held both on‑site, as well as other high -profile venues across London.
