On behalf of Clinigen, we would like to invite you, or members of your chemotherapy and pharmacy team, to attend the following masterclass for managing chemotherapy extravasations.
The masterclass, organised and funded by Clinigen, will provide an overview of current standards, guidelines and protocols, as well as learning and best practice cases of extravasation management strategies. We will broadly cover all aspects of chemotherapy extravasation, including anthracycline extravasations, and look at the appropriate and practical use of Savene®(dexrazoxane). The training will be led by experienced trainers with first-hand experience of chemotherapy extravasations.
This masterclass has been developed as a train-the-trainer program. As an attendee, you will receive a training pack to support your own delivery of chemotherapy extravasation training. This will help you to run your own training sessions and support chemotherapy extravasation prevention and management competencies in your own facility.
You will also receive a certificate of attendance to use towards your personal development. Please note that this certificate does not offer any accreditation or qualification outside personal development.
The masterclass is intended for healthcare professionals only and is free to attend. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. However, Clinigen cannot cover the cost of any travel or other expenses.
Please note this Masterclass has limited places available, so book early to avoid disappointment.
As places are limited, we ask that a maximum of two team members from each Trust/facility/network attend.
